about

D.Dan returns to the Lobster family bringing that signature planet-slaying depth-charged techno alongside some lighter touch Dan material.

If Ya Name's Not Dan Ya Not Comin In is an ode to the rave. That classic spoken word lulling over rippling pads just before a rollocking kick breaks the deadlock. A stomping statement of intent that keeps it's head a dives deeper in the murky depths of the Mörk sound rather than scorching the earth with torn hats.

Sharing the same side is Dan's Dilemma, a cascading, tumbling mass of dub techno stabs that billow, swell and surge around a rhythmic undercurrent of punctured 808's kicks.

Hogging the flip and taking things into seemingly 'very unlike Dan' territory, Final Dantasy is a slow burning house track from the softr side of Dan. Urgently swinging into life and with a euphoric vocal refrain that loops into the red morning sky, shrouded by warm pads. A slow chugging closer and a real Dan rarity.
